भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम की ऑलराउंडर खिलाड़ी स्नेह राणा का शुक्रवार को देहरादून रेलवे स्टेशन पर विशेष सम्मान किया गया। हाल ही में हुए महिला वनडे विश्व कप में स्नेह राणा ने अपने शानदार प्रदर्शन से देश का नाम रोशन किया, जिसके बाद रेलवे प्रशासन ने उनके योगदान और उपलब्धि पर गर्व जताते हुए सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया।
स्टेशन परिसर में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान स्टेशन अधीक्षक रविंद्र कुमार, सीएमआई एस.के. अग्रवाल, सीपीएस सुभाष सक्सेना और सीटीआई सुहेल खान सहित कई अन्य अधिकारियों ने स्नेह राणा को बुके भेंट कर सम्मानित किया और उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि स्नेह राणा न केवल भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम की महत्वपूर्ण सदस्य हैं, बल्कि रेलवे परिवार का भी गौरव हैं।
गौरतलब है कि स्नेह राणा वर्तमान में देहरादून रेलवे स्टेशन में टीटीआई (ट्रैवलिंग टिकट इंस्पेक्टर) के पद पर तैनात हैं। इससे पहले वे रेलवे टीम की तरफ से क्रिकेट भी खेल चुकी हैं, जहां उनके प्रदर्शन ने उन्हें राष्ट्रीय टीम तक पहुँचाया। उनके शानदार खेल और समर्पण ने कई उभरते खिलाड़ियों को प्रेरित किया है।
