उत्तराखंड सरकार ने आगामी हरिद्वार कुंभ 2027 को भव्य, सुव्यवस्थित और सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए तैयारियों में तेजी ला दी है। इसी क्रम में राज्य सरकार ने केंद्र सरकार के 10 मंत्रालयों से जुड़े विभागों को पत्र लिखकर प्रमुख परियोजनाओं को समय से पहले पूरा करने का आग्रह किया है।
इन मंत्रालयों में रेलवे, सड़क परिवहन, शहरी विकास, जल संसाधन, स्वास्थ्य, पर्यावरण, ऊर्जा, पर्यटन, सूचना एवं प्रसारण और गृह मंत्रालय शामिल हैं। राज्य सरकार का कहना है कि कुंभ जैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के धार्मिक आयोजन में करोड़ों श्रद्धालुओं की सहभागिता होती है, ऐसे में सभी जरूरी ढांचागत सुविधाओं का समय से पूरा होना अनिवार्य है।
राज्य सरकार के अनुसार, जिन कार्यों में तेजी लाने की जरूरत है उनमें नई रेलवे लाइन, सड़क चौड़ीकरण, स्वच्छता प्रबंधन, सीवरेज सिस्टम, हेल्थ इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर, स्मार्ट ट्रैफिक कंट्रोल सिस्टम, और सुरक्षा इंतज़ाम प्रमुख हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा, “कुंभ केवल धार्मिक आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि भारत की सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक विरासत का प्रतीक है। इसके लिए राज्य और केंद्र सरकार मिलकर पूरी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रहे हैं।”
राज्य सरकार ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि कुंभ के दौरान तीर्थयात्रियों को किसी भी प्रकार की असुविधा न हो, इसके लिए हर विभाग को अपनी जिम्मेदारियों के प्रति सक्रिय रहना होगा।
